What This Engagement Covers

The Resilience Reality Check is a structured assessment of your organization’s current recovery posture. It’s designed to surface what’s actually true — not what’s assumed — about your ability to recover when things break.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. The intake questionnaire takes 15–20 minutes. We handle the analysis and deliver a written assessment document that leadership can read and act on.

What You Receive

  • Structured Intake Review
A 15–20 minute questionnaire covering business impact, recovery expectations, technology environment, and people & process signals.
  • Resilience Risk Scoring
Your responses are scored across five dimensions: Business Criticality, Recovery Maturity, Expectation Alignment, People & Process Risk, and Confidence Gap.
  • Written Assessment Document
A client-ready document including executive summary, initial risk profile, top hypotheses to validate, evidence checklist, and a 2–3 week validation workplan.
  • Kickoff Discussion Questions
A set of targeted questions to guide a productive follow-up conversation — grounded in your specific findings.
  • 30–45 Minute Review Call
A walkthrough of the assessment findings, in plain language, with time to ask questions. No obligation to continue after the call.

What This Is Not

This is an assessment, not a consulting program. Keeping the scope clear protects your time and ensures you get a focused, useful deliverable.

  • Hands-on remediation or implementation
  • Architecture design or tooling selection
  • Incident response runbook creation
  • Compliance documentation or audit support
  • Ongoing advisory or 24/7 support
  • Disaster recovery testing execution

If deeper work is useful after the assessment, that’s a separate conversation. There’s no pressure and no obligation.

Common Questions

How long does the intake questionnaire take?
Most people complete it in 15–20 minutes. There are no trick questions — it covers your business context, technology environment, current recovery practices, and a few people and process signals. You don’t need to look anything up ahead of time.
Who should complete the intake?
Ideally someone who understands both the business impact of downtime and the current IT environment — often a CTO, Head of IT, or a senior operations person. If those perspectives sit with two people, either one works as a starting point.
What if our answers aren’t complete or we’re unsure about some questions?
That’s fine — and honestly expected. The intake is designed to surface what you know and what you’re unsure about. Incomplete or uncertain answers are informative, not a problem. We’d rather have honest answers than polished ones.
What does the assessment document look like?
It’s a written document (delivered as a Google Doc) with an executive summary, your scored risk profile across five dimensions, five key hypotheses to validate, an evidence checklist, a practical 2–3 week workplan, and discussion questions for the review call. It’s written for both business and technical readers.
Is there any pressure to continue after the review call?
No. The assessment and review call are a complete engagement. If there’s a useful next step, we’ll mention it — but there’s no sales pressure and no follow-up cadence unless you want one. Many organizations take the assessment and use it to guide internal improvements without any further engagement.
When do I pay?
Payment details will be shared after you complete the intake and we confirm the engagement is a good fit. We’ll send an invoice before work begins — no surprises.
